Tour description:

Kajak tour around Veliko Ratno ostrvo is a special experience and a unique way to see Belgrade from a different perspective.

The adventure starts from the designated meeting point, which you will receive after completing the registration. It is recommended to arrive 15 minutes earlier to receive equipment and be ready for kayaking. Departures are available every day at 10 AM and 5 PM.

Before we start paddling, you will receive a short dry training session, after which we will get into the kayaks and begin the practical part. An instructor will be in a separate kayak next to you, providing guidance throughout the tour. Previous experience is not necessary as you will receive basic training on kayaking techniques.

We paddle upstream to Lido Beach, located on the northern part of the island. If the weather is nice and the water is warm, we can take a swim. We continue along the coast, making a loop around Veliko Ratno ostrvo, taking breaks on the beach, swimming, and then return to the starting point.

The tour is of moderate difficulty level and lasts 2 to 3 hours, including the training session. The kayaks provided are sit-in kayaks, stable and suitable for recreational use. Only adults can participate in this adventure. Children must be accompanied by their parents or another adult. All children must be in a tandem kayak with an adult.

Notes on dressing

Recommended sportswear made of synthetic and wool materials. For this training adventure, it is advisable to dress sportily according to the weather conditions. Keep in mind that this is a water sport and we often get wet, so it's recommended to bring a change of clothes. We recommend that you bring the following items with you: water, a snack or energy food, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, flip-flops for warm weather, and if you have weightlifting or cycling gloves, you can bring them as well, as paddling can sometimes cause blisters on the hands.

Notes about children

All children must be in a tandem kayak with an adult. Children up to 14 years old receive a 50% discount.
